It seems to me that if God IS the executioner, and frequently has killed, and will kill His enemies, then the people of the Inquisition represented God rather well.

Many of God's people today, reading the Desire of Ages quote that "the exercise of FORCE is contrary to the principles of God’s government" must read it as something entirely dependent on circumstances. At times it suits His government NOT to exercise force; but at other times He must exercise force. So it seems. But if God operates that way, then surely His children should be doing the same kind of thing [forcing, pushing, over-ruling, etc.] in our little spheres.

What a fearful prospect that is!

Many read [as they believe] of God's expressed intent of killing EVERYONE who has ever opposed Him, in a vast public execution, namely, in the "lake of fire".

A great number of people will suffer "many days" in that fire... in no way can that be called a "mercy killing"!Stewartnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3762600330371787356.post-87095499802614094192010-12-03T17:30:47.078-08:002010-12-03T17:30:47.078-08:00This is very interesting and insightful. thanks fo...This is very interesting and insightful. thanks for postingterrynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3762600330371787356.post-72267396659336185632010-06-05T17:54:38.071-07:002010-06-05T17:54:38.071-07:00praise the LORD!praise the LORD!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
